Ignorant comment on Webkit
“Chrome is based on Webkit (MAC), an browser engine that does not comply with any standards.”

Note: Webkit gets a 100/100 on the Acid 3 test. It is considered one of the most standards-compliant rendering engines available.
1 year agoGoogle Chrome can sort of work on Linux under WINE. If you want a light webkit browser for Linux natively, I recommend Arora or Midori. (Arora is much better for every day use for now!)
1 year agoThe bad thing about this is that the “corporate” Linux distros are what fund much of development on various Linux projects.
1 year agoThe goal of this project is to bring the user interface of Mac OS X (newest version being 10.5, Leopard) to GNU/Linux and UNIX-System like Operating Systems.

The 10 Hottest Linux Powered Gadget - My favorite is this Nokia N810, because it is the closest to what I have (the N800). But I would really like an Eee or the OpenMoko Freerunner.
